French boutique with a team of in house designers with strong knowledge of tailoring and great attention to detail, using soft modern fabrics and uplifting colour designs to creates flattering cut collections. The brand was founded in 1975 and has stores over 50 countries.
The Brief
Promod’s brief was to design two concept stores that embody their values and expertise while seamlessly integrating digital moments all while staying true to their French identity.
My role
Conducted user research to understand customer needs.
Led stakeholder workshops to align on strategy and vision of the brand.
Art-directed the overall look & feel and collaborated with the motion graphics team to create animations that effectively conveyed the concepts to the client.
Pitched ideas to the client and team, ensuring a balance between user needs and technical feasibility.
Collaborated with interior designers to ensure seamless integration into the physical space.
Research
We started going to Paris to visit few stores, collecting information about the brand, the staff, the customers, taking photos of the space, talking to different managers and browsing the collection.
Following to meetings with directors from the different areas (communication, marketing, design, digital, fitting..) and had a walk around in the main office to understand how they create the collections.
The Process
I started putting together all the information i had from the client and my notes over the research phase to identify the types of Promod customers and how the digital ideas could better reflect a strong, international, digital and customer orientated.

Outcome
The approach is to create a softness digital environment, where online and off-line experience feel integrated through immersive and engaging multimedia content, encouraging shoppers to explore and be surprised. I pitch five ideas, redesign the Website, Book & Try, Digital table, Meet the Creators and Shop Front.
The website
Allow Promod to integrate customers generated content, feel inspired, active participation and encourage purchases. The ton of voice is consistent through the all different brand communication. Integrate the social media channels encourage participation.
Book & Try
Customers handpick their favorite items online, book a convenient store visit, and arrive to find their selections ready to try on, making shopping seamless and personalised.
Digital table
Bringing relevant digital content into store, connecting and integrating social media community and encouraging participation.
The idea is to display live Instagram likes as an overlay on top of the article (which has been shared in an Instagram post), sparking curiosity and encouraging engagement.
Meet the creators
Introduce our customers to the people behind the brand, and encoring an interest in an understand of the care and attention to detail.
The idea is to create a space where customers can discover the creator behind each piece of clothing, using a projection overlay to highlight the craftsmanship and intricate details.
Shop Front
Gives an opportunity for Promod to add relevant messages in the shopfront encouraging shoppers to check inside the store.
The idea is to feature a lightbox at the shop front that displays dynamic, relevant messages, seamlessly connecting with the showcased items.
