Canon briefed was to create an immersive and interactive experience for the Gadget show in London. The base of the project is an interactive app that allows customers to understand the features of the cameras using projectors to highlight the images that the product produces.
My role
My role was to conduct workshops with the stakeholders to help to understand what kind of personas the Gadget Show would attract, create prototypes to share visuals and produce UI whilst designing a the user experience.
Research
We start with a workshop with the stakeholders, developers, client, marketing department to help to understand what kind of personas the Gadget Show would attract. By the end of the day we found out a few types of personas that go to an event and what they are looking to find there.
Outcome
Customers scroll through galleries of images taken with specific camera models using a connected touchscreen, with the photographs displayed on a 4k high-resolution screen and surrounding digital projections. It’s a high impact, cinematic installation spanning 9sqm in total.
