Canon - UX/UI Projected Interactive screen

Canon - Gadget Show
Live, London

Overview - UX/UI Projected Interactive screen

Canon briefed was to create an immersive and interactive experience for the Gadget show in London. The base of the project is an interactive app that allows customers to understand the features of the cameras using projectors to highlight the images that the product produces.

My role

My role was to conduct workshops with the stakeholders to help to understand what kind of personas the Gadget Show would attract, create prototypes to share visuals and produce UI whilst designing a the user experience.

Research

We start with a workshop with the stakeholders, developers, client, marketing department to help to understand what kind of personas the Gadget Show would attract. By the end of the day we found out a few types of personas that go to an event and what they are looking to find there.

The Process

Weekly meetings with interior design teams, developers and client was set up to share the progress of the project.

I started to look at the Canon guidelines, the cameras, gathering the content together and with the personas set up in the workshop  I could start the wireframes.

I created a prototype on Marvel to share with the stakeholders and client to help  them visualize the content, navigation and ideas of transitions and with the help of a creative motion graphic designer we created animations that show the transitions we would like to see in the app.

In the design phase we continue to share the designs with the stakeholders and client creating a prototype in Marvel.
