Research
I visited Maggie’s centre in London a couple of times, to observe and get more information about the centre and who visit on daily basis. The support they give to the people has cancer and the families are truly amazing and I try to understand what the patients and family goes through when the find out they got cancer.
The first time I visited the centre they didn’t know why i was there, but the first thing they asked me was, if i want a cup of tea and to make myself comfortable that someone was comingshortly to talk to me and that simple thing made me think the designs and the information architect should reflect the same feeling i had when i went to the centre.
Should make the users/patients feel comfortable, calm and confident about the information they are searching for.
Outcome
The website focuses on accessibility, user-friendly, using strong and plentiful imagery, social functionality, testimonials and relevant content.
The designs are responsive to allows users have a better experience in all different devices
